Calling all Moonwalkers

July 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Okay, so, we’re getting sick of all the MJ coverage, too. But, a Burlington tribute to the King of Pop hosted by Seven Days seemed like an event we couldn’t ignore. Break out your glittering dictator uniform and moonwalk it over to Higher Ground on Friday, July 24 to pay your respects at One Glove: A Michael Jackson Tribute Night.

Photographer Mark Menjivar’s “You Are What You Eat” picture show poses the question — could your refrigerator actually be a window to the depths of your soul?

Chew on this.

Haven’t heard about swine flu in a while. Well it’s still kickin’ around. Swedish musician Jens Lekman reported on his blog that he contracted the H1N1 virus while on tour in South America.

Siren Music Festival July 18th Noon-9PM

Just found out about this free festival that the Village Voice puts on in Brooklyn. Seems as though they have been doing it for a while, wonder why I haven’t heard of it before. The line-up looks pretty good and you couldn’t ask for a better price.

Check it out at http://siren.villagevoice.com/siren/
